How does the Fractional Boat Leasing Program
work?
Each Port & Starboard leasing partner has an undivided interest
in one of our watercraft. Lessees have unlimited usage throughout
the year. Port & Starboard's management provides maintenance
and repair and full housekeeping services before each scheduled use.
All of the watercraft are fully furnished and accessorized from top
to bottom. All you really need to bring is food, beverage, and
suntan lotion.
How do I make reservations?
Daily updated calendar schedules for each watercraft are on
our Internet site for your use or you may call or email Port & Starboard
to make a reservation.
All Port & Starboard lessees have the opportunity to reserve their
boating days in advance. Scheduled days, once used, can be immediately
rescheduled. Lessees may also exchange any day they have scheduled
with 12 hours advance notice, and bad weather days can be rescheduled
anytime.
Does the Boat Leasing program give me total access
during my reserved days?
Yes, this is your private watercraft during your "guaranteed"
days. The only passengers on board are your family, friends or
guests.
Can I request another watercraft when needed?
Yes, if your boat is already reserved you can use any of the watercraft
that you have been trained on--Single Engine vs. Twin Engine.
What kind of experience is required to operate
the watercraft?
No prior experience is required. Each lessee will receive 6-15
hours of on-the-water training with Port & Starboard's Coast Guard
trained instructor. Our comprehensive training course will include
all the skills necessary to captain the watercraft skillfully and safely.
When are housekeeping and maintenance performed
on the watercraft?
Two hours between each lessee's use is reserved for our detailed professional
housekeeping both inside and out. Watercraft maintenance is performed
on a regularly scheduled basis when the watercraft is not scheduled
for use.
Can my company purchase the Boat Leasing program?
Yes. Your monthly payments may qualify as an entertainment expense
deduction. Please contact your CPA regarding specific requirements.
How can I make payments to Port & Starboard?
All payments may be made by check or a major credit card.
